Power Missions International is involved in building churches for poor communities.
Our first project was at Boschfontein, South Africa. We supplied the material and local people did the labor.
This past Easter (2008) there were more than four hundred people in the building. This is wonderful for a new planting. God is good!
Our second project is in Manzini, Swaziland. We got involved and in partnership with Family Fellowship Church of Oceanside we supplied a large portion of the materials. The church building will be inaugurated in July 2008. It already has had services before final completion. More than two hundred people are attending on a Sunday morning. We also drilled a well for water and put up a fresh water system for the community.
These new church plantings with the new buildings are extremely successful. It really works very well in the African context.
We wait for guidance and provision for the next church building project. We are looking for an American church or some people who want to partner with us.
